After 14 months, 11 classes, countless discussion board posts and peer responses, 29 papers and a 28 page thesis, Matthew is done with grad school. Shortly, a diploma declaring that he has a Masters of Education specializing in teaching English as a second language should be winging its way here. It has to come via a plethora of officiating bodies in the US so that it can be authenticated and accepted by his company which hopefully should mean a raise also. We had a celebratory breakfast of poached eggs on toast with baby asparagus, lashings of hollandaise, and a few spoonfuls of roe accompanied by a nice bottle of prosecco.
