Qualis Artifex Pereo

We had to put our sweet, beloved Nero to sleep yesterday due to complications from a severe bladder/kidney infection. He was in a lot of pain at the end and it wasn't going to get better, so we had the vet come to our house to do it while I held him and Matthew stroked his head. We are utterly crushed, but are burying him in a corner of our patio and will plant a tree next to him. We like the idea of having him close by. Give your pets an extra hug today in memory of him.
